Overview of Bembì

Download the file below to read the story of Bembì. There is also a fact sheet available here.

The Bembì Logo

The Bembì logo signifies the link between what exists and what does not. Though Indian food exists in Barcelona, the culinary experience Bembì offers does not.

Bembì is a word in the Marathi language meaning the navel or ¨belly button¨. A baby connects with its mother via the umbilical cord at the navel. The logo is representative of the fact that Bembì is like our baby, created with much care and love. We also want to represent our connection with India via the logo.

The reverse accent on the ¨i¨ in Bembì has been included to signify our integration with Barcelona and the Catalá language.

The red colour included at the centre of the logo indicates life and is another colour popular with the Catalans.

The birth of Bembì is representative of a dynamic changing world full of opportunties.
